Our public systems use data to make decisions and take actions that have profound impacts on our lives and communities.

I encourage citizens to use evidence to question decisions that affect their lives. Penetrating injustices is a way to hold public officials accountable. Data use by government leaders should be responsive to the citizens they serve. This website features two examples in Chicago—in education and housing.
